Small Extension Structures
A conventional domestic extension may involve several connected structural elements: beams or lintels, roof members, local floor framing and, where within the agreed scope, straightforward foundation checks. The project is therefore reviewed before a fixed fee is offered.
What to send
Upload existing and proposed architectural plans, sections/elevations if available, photographs of the existing building and the principal structural dimensions. If Building Control has already raised questions, include those comments.
Excluded from the automatic online scope
Basements, underpinning, major retaining structures, complex temporary works, unusual structural systems and other higher-risk work require direct review and insurer/scope checks before any online service order is confirmed.
